For Learning & Development teams

Your training lands. Then nothing happens for six weeks.

Meanwhile runs the live session — polls, scored rounds, branching scenarios where the room's vote decides what happens next. Then it keeps the team playing, competing and learning in the weeks between, so the thing you taught is still alive when you come back to it.

  • Free forever for a small team
  • No card to start
  • Everyone joins on their phone

How it works

The session is the easy part

Plenty of tools will run a live poll. The hard part is the five weeks afterwards, when the deck is closed and everyone is busy.

  1. 1. Run the session

Build it by dragging activities into order — polls, scored rounds, rankings, breakouts, and branching scenarios where the room's vote decides which way the story goes. Everyone joins on their phone with a code.

  2. 2. Then keep it running

The week after, your team is playing chess a move a day across four time zones, running an escape room, taking a ten-minute knowledge check, or watching their department fight another one for a trophy. You set the cadence once; it goes on without you.

  3. 3. See what actually changed

Every answer, every score and every session in one place, with a per-person report and a CSV. Plus the things nobody else measures: who has stopped turning up, who has never worked with anyone outside their own team, and whether the room is warmer than it was in March.

What's inside

One tool, four jobs

You are probably paying three vendors for this: one for live polling, one for the LMS, one for the Slack bot that sends a trivia question on Fridays.

  • 24 games — chess, backgammon, go, reversi, mancala, hex, blackjack, Four Traits — played a move a day across time zones, or live
  • 29 quests: escape rooms, cipher hunts, phishing drills, daily trivia, two truths and a lie, story relays, prediction leagues
  • Leagues, knockouts and ladders, including squad matches where a department plays another department and most wins takes the tie
  • Rituals that run on a cadence without you touching them

Why it's different

Everything else is shaped like an event

A live polling tool is priced per host because only the host gets anything out of it between sessions. An LMS is a place people go when they are told to. A Slack bot is a trivia question nobody asked for. Each of them is good at one thing, and the gap between them is where the learning goes to die.

 MeanwhileLive polling toolLMSSlack bot
Runs a live, scored session everyone joins on their phone
Gives every employee something to do on a Tuesday when no session is running
The room's vote changes what happens next, and a consequence screen says what it cost
A department can play another department, everyone plays, most wins takes the tie
Required knowledge checks with a pass mark and per-question gap analysis
Tells you who has quietly stopped taking part
Works for people in four time zones who are never awake together

That is also why this is priced per employee rather than per host. Every person gets something, not just the one running the deck.

Designed by L&D, for L&D

Not a polling toy. A learning-design system.

Every template ships with a design note explaining the principle behind the sequence — so a facilitator can defend the session, not just run it.

Retrieval practice, not re-reading

Scored quizzes with instant feedback are the single most evidence-backed way to make knowledge stick. Every template puts a quiz where the learning happens, not at the end.

Kirkpatrick built in

Pre/post polls on the same question show movement inside one session — Level 2 evidence you can put in front of a sponsor without a survey a week later.

Spacing, which is the whole point

Everything we know about memory says the same thing: the gap between two goes at something matters more than how long either one lasts. One long day is the worst shape you can choose, and it is the shape almost all corporate training takes. This is built to put something small in the gap.

70 · 20 · 10 in one room

Retrieval (10), paired rehearsal and breakouts with a debrief (20), and a private commitment to try on real work this week (70). Sequence, not slides.

Anonymous first, then public

Concerns and safety measures are collected anonymously before anyone commits in front of the boss. The room sees the data; nobody sees who said what.
